    Dismissal of Action due to Party's Failure to Comply with Court's Order.  Section 3, Rule 17 of the Rules
    of Court provides that if the plaintiff fails to comply with any order of the court, the action may be dismissed
    upon motion of the defendant or upon the court’s own motion, and the dismissal shall have the effect of
    an adjudication on the merits, unless otherwise provided by the court. (VISTAN vs. JUDGE ANGELES,
